The main benefit of this series is represented by the plug-in probes that can be replaced in a matter of seconds.
Calibration data stored directly in the probe means that probes can be replaced when necessary without any loss of accuracy. Moreover, precision calibration procedures and the latest microprocessor technology guarantee reliable measurement and excellent measuring accuracy throughout the entire operating range. The exceptional long-term stability is down to many years of experience gained from the capacitive humidity sensors used.
For applications in slightly higher ambient temperatures, in tight spaces, or simply for probe extension, adapter cables can be supplied as optional accessories in lengths of 2 m, 5 m, or 10 m for use between the probe and the measuring probe.
The usual voltage outputs of 0 to 1 V, 0 to 5 V, and 0 to 10 V, or 4 to 20 mA (2-wire) current outputs are available as output signals, with temperature scaling that can be adapted to the desired ranges at the factory.
Optional LCD display integration allows the current humidity and temperature values to be displayed alternately directly on the device.
On-site calibration of humidity and temperature
Loop calibration of humidity and temperature output values in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries as recommended by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) can be performed very simply using the option of RH and T probes, which can be supplied separately. The function keys fitted inside can easily be used to make necessary adjustments to the two analog outputs where required.
The reference probes available as accessories make it possible to check the function and accuracy of the measuring loop. Both reference probes can be fitted in lieu of the interchangeable
probes. They emit fixed humidity and temperature values. The reference probes are supplied together with a test report. They simulate a high humidity level and a low temperature value and vice versa (probe 1: 90 % RH/5 °C and probe 2: 10 % RH/45 °C). This allows both analog outputs to be tested at the upper or lower end of scaling.
